The Awaken Retreat
WILD STILLNESS
A 4-night immersion in old-growth heart of Oregon -
unplug, unwind and come alive
15 - 19 October 2026
at Black Butte Ranch, Oregon
Join us for 4 magical nights in the old-growth heart of Oregon.
This is a journey of allowing yourself to exhale as you step into the forest. To drink tea amongst the trees, held in the unhurried grace of ceremony. To practice ancient Himalayan Kriya yoga - refining and awakening the vessel that carries you through this life. To slow down and form new friendships with like-minded souls. To sink into the mineral-rich waters of natural hot springs, letting the earth herself draw out what no longer belongs to you. And to move through rewilding practices that gently return you to your innate wisdom and the wild intelligence that has always lived inside you.
Let Oregon's wild breathe life back into you and her stillness restore you.
Mornings begin in stillness. You'll return each day to your own sit spot - a chosen place in the forest that becomes yours across the retreat - watching the land wake, listening, letting your nervous system remember its natural rhythm.
From there, the days unfold through ancientt Himalayan Kriya yogato open and energize the body, meditation to settle the mind into presence, and tea ceremony as a slow, sensory practice of returning to the moment.
In the afternoon, we move through a mix of activities, practices, connection and rest time.
As the sun drops and the stars emerge, we gather around the circle for heart opening Balinese Ceremonial Cacao, heart sharings and songs.
Woven throughout are rewilding practices and deep sensory immersion in the natural world.
These are invitations back into the body, back into the earth and back into yourself.
This retreat is for you if:
You are exhausted by the pace of modern life and craving something real
You feel most like yourself in nature, and haven't had enough of it lately

You are desiring a safe space to be held just as you are
What’s included
4 nights all-inclusive stay
Rest, reconnect and rewild at this stunning lodge nestled among towering evergreens at Black Butte Ranch, Oregon. Your stay includes accomodation, a brunch, dinner, unlimited tea and coffee.
Yoga, meditation & breathwork
We will practice a mix of Himalayan Kriya yoga, gentle somatic rewilding practices, guided meditation and breathwork to clear the inner mud, awaken to clarity and awaken the inner warrior.
Tea Ceremonies
As we sit in tea ceremony, it is a form of meditation. We drink, we contemplate, we reflect, and we listen to the wisdom of the plant spirit helping us connect deeper to ourselves.
Natural Hotsprings Bathing
We will journey into the old-growth forest that lies a special Hot Springs - wild, mineral-rich and unlike anywhere else. We descend into tiered natural pools beneath a canopy of ancient trees, letting the earth's warmth draw out what no longer serves.
Stargazing contemplation & journaling circle
In the night as the stars emerge, we will gather outside to gaze into the vast unknown and receive the stellar energies. From there, we will journal together allowing our creative hearts to pour onto the pages.
Nourishing Meals
We are blessed to have an amazing on-site chef cooking for us daily - brunch and dinner. All meals will be vegetarian with a source of protein at each meal.
Where we gather
Tucked among towering evergreens on the edge of Black Butte Ranch is our home for four nights - warm, spacious, and held within the quiet of the forest.
The heart of the lodge is an open living and dining space anchored by a beautiful live edge wood table where we will share our meals, our mornings, and the kind of unhurried conversation that only happens when the outside world falls away. The kitchen is fully equipped, making our shared brunches and dinners a seamless, nourishing ritual.
Bedrooms are comfortable and restful - each one an invitation to sleep deeply, dream wildly, and wake slowly. Five bathrooms mean mornings are spacious and unrushed.
Outside, an expansive deck stretches into the pines, with a covered hot tub, open sky above, and the stillness of the forest all around. This is where we will breathe, gather, and practice.

Himalayan Kriya yoga is an ancient lineage of practices originating in the Himalayan tradition. It works with breath, movement, and energy to purify and refine the body and nervous system, creating clarity, aliveness, and deep inner stillness.
-
Rewilding practices are rooted in the understanding that modern life has disconnected us from our natural rhythms, instincts, and the earth itself. Through practices such as barefoot earthing, water immersion, sit spots in nature, sensory immersion, and earth-based ceremony, we gently restore that connection - returning you to your innate wisdom and cyclical nature.
-
Each morning you will be invited to return to a chosen spot in the forest that becomes uniquely yours across the retreat. You simply sit, in silence, and allow the natural world to meet you. It is one of the most quietly profound practices.
-
Comfortable clothing for yoga and movement, warm layers for evenings for star gazing, sturdy shoes for hiking, swimwear, a journal, a water bottle, and an open heart. A full packing list will be sent 1 month before the retreat begins.

October in Sisters is crisp, golden, and breathtaking. Daytime temperatures are typically mild (around 10–18°C / 50–65°F), with cooler evenings dropping to around 2–7°C / 35–45°F. Rain is possible, so a light waterproof layer is recommended. The fall colours in the forest are extraordinary.
-
Not at all. All practices are offered in a way that meets you exactly where you are. Beginners are as welcome as experienced practitioners.
-
This is a community experience woven with meaningful connection, soulful conversation and shared practice. There will be one day of silence, and mornings are periods of intentional silence until after breakfast. The retreat overall will be warm, social, and relational.
-
