The Awaken Retreat

WILD STILLNESS

A 4-night immersion in old-growth heart of Oregon -
unplug, unwind and come alive

15 - 19 October 2026
at Black Butte Ranch, Oregon

Join us for 4 magical nights in the old-growth heart of Oregon.

This is a journey of allowing yourself to exhale as you step into the forest. To drink tea amongst the trees, held in the unhurried grace of ceremony. To practice ancient Himalayan Kriya yoga - refining and awakening the vessel that carries you through this life. To slow down and form new friendships with like-minded souls. To sink into the mineral-rich waters of natural hot springs, letting the earth herself draw out what no longer belongs to you. And to move through rewilding practices that gently return you to your innate wisdom and the wild intelligence that has always lived inside you.

Let Oregon's wild breathe life back into you and her stillness restore you.

Mornings begin in stillness. You'll return each day to your own sit spot - a chosen place in the forest that becomes yours across the retreat - watching the land wake, listening, letting your nervous system remember its natural rhythm.

From there, the days unfold through ancientt Himalayan Kriya yogato open and energize the body, meditation to settle the mind into presence, and tea ceremony as a slow, sensory practice of returning to the moment.

In the afternoon, we move through a mix of activities, practices, connection and rest time.

As the sun drops and the stars emerge, we gather around the circle for heart opening Balinese Ceremonial Cacao, heart sharings and songs.

Woven throughout are rewilding practices and deep sensory immersion in the natural world.
These are invitations back into the body, back into the earth and back into yourself.

This retreat is for you if:

  • You are exhausted by the pace of modern life and craving something real

  • You feel most like yourself in nature, and haven't had enough of it lately

  • You are seeking community with others who are genuinely searching

  • You want to be moved - physically, spiritually, emotionally, elementally

  • You crave for an intimate, small group retreat to connect and form new friendships

  • You desire to be supported and held to help you move through anything that is surfacing

  • You are desiring a safe space to be held just as you are

As we sit in tea ceremony, it is a form of meditation. We drink, we contemplate, we reflect, and we listen to the wisdom of the plant spirit helping us connect deeper to ourselves.

Natural Hotsprings Bathing

We will journey into the old-growth forest that lies a special Hot Springs - wild, mineral-rich and unlike anywhere else. We descend into tiered natural pools beneath a canopy of ancient trees, letting the earth's warmth draw out what no longer serves.

Stargazing contemplation & journaling circle

In the night as the stars emerge, we will gather outside to gaze into the vast unknown and receive the stellar energies. From there, we will journal together allowing our creative hearts to pour onto the pages.

Nourishing Meals

We are blessed to have an amazing on-site chef cooking for us daily - brunch and dinner. All meals will be vegetarian with a source of protein at each meal.

Where we gather

Tucked among towering evergreens on the edge of Black Butte Ranch is our home for four nights - warm, spacious, and held within the quiet of the forest.

The heart of the lodge is an open living and dining space anchored by a beautiful live edge wood table where we will share our meals, our mornings, and the kind of unhurried conversation that only happens when the outside world falls away. The kitchen is fully equipped, making our shared brunches and dinners a seamless, nourishing ritual.

Bedrooms are comfortable and restful - each one an invitation to sleep deeply, dream wildly, and wake slowly. Five bathrooms mean mornings are spacious and unrushed.

Outside, an expansive deck stretches into the pines, with a covered hot tub, open sky above, and the stillness of the forest all around. This is where we will breathe, gather, and practice.

  • Nhi has taken her in-person retreats to the next level!

"Nhi's ability to hold space and facilitate healing and magic from a deep place of authenticity and openness has always been the reason why I feel so connected to her works and offerings. While I've sensed the power of her offerings through her online works, she has taken her in-person retreats to the next level. Her capacity to create a space that encourages grounding in intimate circles, ceremonies, and practices opens the door to vulnerability and deep healing. The flow of various practices, such as tea meditations, cacao ceremonies, connection and movement practices, along with the thoughtfully curated menu, all emanate Nhi's heartfelt offerings. I've forged beautiful connections with fellow sisters attending and gained valuable insights from the retreat that I can now integrate into my daily practices. If you are ever thinking of attending a retreat that is going to deeply foster a connection to yourself and create a space for learning, I highly recommend Nhi's retreats!" - Phei Yap (Australia)

  • Nhi’s retreat felt like entering a sanctuary..

"Stepping into Nhi’s retreat felt like entering a sanctuary where we could authentically open up, embracing a space that nurtured genuine connections and allowed us to be our true selves. Nhi reignited my journey of self-love, appreciation for the constant synchronicities in my life, trust in the universe, and, most importantly, trust in myself. Nhi had been my mentor and guiding light during a challenging period two years ago, and reuniting with her at the retreat was pure magic. The retreat lovingly prompted me to recognize the growth and healing I had undergone since then, highlighting the significant transformation I had embraced and to continue to connect with my feminine energy. Nhi, grateful for your guidance and the wonderful moments shared." - Tu Luong (Australia)

  • The retreat was beautifully thought out and well planned

"This is my first mindfulness retreat and I am blessed to have started this journey with Nhi as my spiritual guide. The retreat was beautifully thought out and well planned. Favourites were Nhi's tea ceremony...she shared her 100 petals lotus tea from her travels and the tea was so special. The ceremony itself was peaceful and meditative. The retreat also included vegetarian meals...at first I was doubtful to forgo my meat diet but it was actually very fitting when cleansing the mind too. Loved our chef. Would definitely go for retreats by Nhi again and continuing my spiritual journey with her. Thank you Nhi for the wonderful first time experience." - Amanda (Australia)

  • Nhi's retreat was an experience beyond my expectations.

"Attending Nhi's retreat was an experience beyond my expectations. It was my first venture into such a setting, and I must say, it left a profound impact on me. Nhi is such a calming presence, I felt enveloped by a sense of serenity and warmth from the moment I met her. The meditation and sound exercises Nhi facilitated were truly transformative. They allowed me to delve deep within myself, experiencing a sense of peace and clarity that I hadn't felt before. Even after the retreat ended, I still find myself incorporating the breathing techniques into my daily routine, using them as a tool to ground myself amidst life's stresses. I was a little skeptical about an all-vegetarian diet during the retreat, but Nhi's organic vegetarian feasts were a delight to the senses, nourishing both body and soul. Every meal felt like a celebration of wholesome goodness, further enhancing the retreat experience. I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to connect with a diverse group of women, each interaction was a lesson in empathy, understanding, and shared wisdom. If you are looking to embark on a journey of self-discovery and inner peace I would wholeheartedly recommend attending one of Nhi's beautiful retreats." - Melissa He (Australia)

"Within you lives both the stillness of the mountain and the wildness of the forest."

  • Himalayan Kriya yoga is an ancient lineage of practices originating in the Himalayan tradition. It works with breath, movement, and energy to purify and refine the body and nervous system, creating clarity, aliveness, and deep inner stillness.

  • Rewilding practices are rooted in the understanding that modern life has disconnected us from our natural rhythms, instincts, and the earth itself. Through practices such as barefoot earthing, water immersion, sit spots in nature, sensory immersion, and earth-based ceremony, we gently restore that connection - returning you to your innate wisdom and cyclical nature.

  • Each morning you will be invited to return to a chosen spot in the forest that becomes uniquely yours across the retreat. You simply sit, in silence, and allow the natural world to meet you. It is one of the most quietly profound practices.

  • Comfortable clothing for yoga and movement, warm layers for evenings for star gazing, sturdy shoes for hiking, swimwear, a journal, a water bottle, and an open heart. A full packing list will be sent 1 month before the retreat begins.

  • October in Sisters is crisp, golden, and breathtaking. Daytime temperatures are typically mild (around 10–18°C / 50–65°F), with cooler evenings dropping to around 2–7°C / 35–45°F. Rain is possible, so a light waterproof layer is recommended. The fall colours in the forest are extraordinary.

  • Not at all. All practices are offered in a way that meets you exactly where you are. Beginners are as welcome as experienced practitioners.

  • This is a community experience woven with meaningful connection, soulful conversation and shared practice. There will be one day of silence, and mornings are periods of intentional silence until after breakfast. The retreat overall will be warm, social, and relational.

  • The retreat is intentionally kept small to ensure an intimate, held experience. There will be a maximum of 12 participants.

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total retreat investment is required to secure your place. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the retreat start date.

All payments are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your place for any reason, we are unable to offer a refund. However, we understand that life is unpredictable - if you notify us more than 30 days before the retreat begins, your payment may be transferred to a future retreat or applied as credit toward a 1:1 session, valid for 12 months from the original retreat date.

Cancellations made under 30 days of the retreat are non-transferable and non-refundable, as costs will have already been committed on your behalf.

In the unlikely event that the retreat is cancelled or postponed by us, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer your payment to a future date.
